Our leadership must be continuous but not too suppressant, in order to help our child develop his own personality.
This phenomenon is normal and should not surprise us or disappoint us. Children of this age are autonomic and considering the lack of constant observation that accompanies this age, they are likely to engage in lying or stealing. Indeed, the lies of this age related to school, lessons, behavior in the classroom etc. What we must understand is that kids are experimenting with behaviors and actions. Every time that we are witnessing one of those acts, we must react calmly. We never accuse, or berate our child and definitely we never call him a liar or a thief. In the other hand, we explain him why his actions are wrong and the reasons why he shouldn't act this way again. It is our obligation to explain our children what they ignore: the social dimensions of their actions and the social impact thereof. Gradually our child, with our assistance will have social understanding and create awareness of what belongs to him and what it does not.
School and teachers
An important step to child's development is his integration into the school environment. Experts highlight that the parent-teacher cooperation is crucial for the development of the child. We have a frequent communication with the teacher, we get informed at regular intervals about the progress of our child and most importantly, in no case we express our disagreement. Even if we don't agree with the way a teacher teaches our child, we discuss it with him without being brought to the attention of our child. It is important for a child to trust his teachers and whatever they represent, in order to be integrated smoothly in the business world of adulthood.
